This Thursday night, Cause A Scene is privileged to team up with Studio Forty-one Fifteen in East Nashville (4115 Gallatin Ave) to bring you one of Austin, Texas’s most exciting young duos, Penny and Sparrow. The band is comprised of friends Andy Baxter and Kyle Jahnke and have been compared to the likes of Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons, and The Swell Season. One way or another, they have a transcendent, timeless quality to their music, with a pastoral, folksy vibe and lyrics with real depth throughout. We have been working to bring this band to Nashville for quite some time, and we couldn’t be anymore thrilled about Thursday night’s show.

To make the night even more exciting, we have our good friends from Afterlife Parade (check out their Kickstarter) and Jackson, MS-based Oh, Jeremiah opening the show with plenty of surprises up their sleeves. Please join us for this intimate house show in East Nashville. Capacity is capped at 60 people, and we fully anticipate a sellout. Tickets for Thursday night’s show can be purchased here for $5 in advance and $8 on the day of the show.

Penny and Sparrow – ‘Brothers’

Afterlife Parade – ‘Black Woods, White Beach’

Oh, Jeremiah – ‘Happy Now’
